Overview
BigBear.ai is looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be crucial in delivering top-tier cloud solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include supporting application teams, crafting executable plans, and implementing best practices for seamless cloud migration.
This position is located in Suitland, MD and will be in a hybrid work schedule.
What you will do
- Advise the team on solutions to work within our AWS environment.
- Troubleshoot and configure within our environment.
- Help with the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based reporting solutions.
- Work with the team to secure and maintain RMF accreditation for the application.
- Resolve and eliminate cyber risks and vulnerabilities across the application space.
- Perform system upgrade activities of BI Reporting Tool Set.
- Maintain and adjudicate FISMA/ACSA findings for monthly system security scans.
- Coordinate with ISSO for POA&M responses as needed.
- Develop and maintain yearly cloud account budgets for senior leadership.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience supporting an infrastructure management team.
- Must maintain a TS/SCI clearance .
- Experience in migrating applications to cloud, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of application architecture in the cloud, including refactoring, integration with other services, and security.
- Familiarity with DSO standards and processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Windows and Linux Administration experience.
- Experience with scripting for automation.
