Position Summary: As the OEM Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners, leading engineering discussions for product integration, and driving sales growth within the OEM channel. You will work closely with executive leadership and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and success of our advanced AI vision learning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Maintain OEM Partnerships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with OEM partners, serving as the primary point of contact and driving collaboration.
- Lead Engineering Integration Efforts: Coordinate engineering efforts to integrate our products into OEM systems, ensuring seamless implementation and functionality.
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth within the OEM channel, leveraging your expertise in selling technology as a service.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Industrial Product Sr. Manager, VP of Sales, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and success.
- Utilize CRM Systems: Develop and utilize CRM tools like Salesforce or Oracle to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Teach, Tailor, and Take Control: Employ the Challenger Sales approach to educate OEM partners, customize solutions to their needs, and confidently guide them through the integration and sales process.
- Ensure Customer Success: Follow up with OEM partners to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and identify additional opportunities for collaboration.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: BA in Business, Communication, Engineering, or Data Science; MBA preferred.
- Sales Experience: Proven success in selling technology solutions in a B2B setting, with experience in OEM partnerships.
- Technical Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering and technical integration processes.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain lasting partnerships with OEM partners.
- Strategic Thinking and Adaptability: Ability to develop and adjust strategies based on market conditions and partner needs.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade partners.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Oracle, and a passion for leveraging these tools to enhance sales performance.
- Team Orientation: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing insights and supporting collective goals.
- Challenger Sales Approach: Understanding and willingness to use the principles of teach, tailor, and take control in partner interactions.
- Polished and Professional: High level of professionalism, with a polished demeanor and strong presentation skills.
