Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough dental exams, providing personalized treatment plans, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental exams, including visual inspections and radiographic evaluations.
- Provide personalized treatment plans to patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Administer local anesthetics and provide pain management treatments as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Arizona.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
