Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough dental exams, providing personalized treatment plans, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough dental exams, including visual inspections and radiographic evaluations.
  2. Provide personalized treatment plans to patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  3. Administer local anesthetics and provide pain management treatments as needed.
  4. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
  5. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories.

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in Arizona.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening.
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
