Job Overview
As an experienced P&C Insurance Producer, you will play a vital role in growing both our personal and commercial lines of business. Ideally, you will have experience in both personal and commercial insurance, but if your expertise lies in personal lines, we are willing to provide training in commercial lines. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business, retain clients, and help them navigate their insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth: Generate new business and maintain strong client relationships through personal and commercial lines.
Client Consultations: Provide expert advice to clients on their insurance needs, offering customized solutions.
Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products to maximize coverage for clients.
Client Retention: Manage a book of business, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration: Work closely with our service and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Learning & Development: Continue to grow your skills and product knowledge, with opportunities to expand into commercial lines if your experience is primarily in personal lines.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years working in an independent insurance agency.
Licensing: Must hold a valid Property & Casualty license. A Life, Health, and Accident license is a plus.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of generating new business and retaining clients in the insurance industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex insurance products for clients.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with insurance software and CRM systems.
Motivated & Accountable: Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability to meet performance goals.
Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Work Environment
This role is primarily in-office in Slidell, LA, with occasional flexibility for work-from-home situations.
