DescriptionWe are looking for a Product Manager to help design, build, and develop big impact features that improve the customer experience for Promotions and buzzworthy product amplification. This PM will be responsible for setting our 3YP, OP1/OP2, and event-specific strategies for deals and how we think about buzzworthy products, virality, and the strategic importance of surfacing great products to customers during peak traffic periods.This leader will solve complex problems in one of the fastest growing segments of the Retail business, Fashion and Fitness (Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry, Watches, Accessories, Sports and Outdoors). A successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual who strives to answer business/operational questions and who works across functional boundaries.To succeed in this role you should be a general athlete who is passionate about working with large datasets and who loves to bring data together to re-imagine how teams approach highly visible problems. You should have deep expertise in the creation and management of datasets and the proven ability to translate the data into meaningful insights. You should be comfortable using the data in financial modeling. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end development of strategy, building technical infrastructure with F2 Data Engineering and Tech teams, as well as reporting progress to senior leadership stakeholders across Stores teams.Key job responsibilities-Define the strategy for deal sourcing and operational execution for Fashion and Fitness' High Velocity Events (e.g., Prime Day)-Work across multiple tech stacks and teams to influence change where existing policies and logic are having unintended, negative impact on our categories-Develop new approaches and ways of thinking to make deal events more efficient-Work with Data Engineering teams to build tech-enabled solutions and tools to common executional pain pointsBasic Qualifications8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience8+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experienceBachelor's degreeExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience as a product manager or ownerPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of SQLExperience with product cycles of 6+ monthsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.
