Travel Nurse RN - PCU in Carmel, IN

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit
**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 4, 12-hour shifts - 48 hours in one workweek
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required; first-timers accepted
**License:** In-state license or compact license required in hand
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS
**Must-Have:**
- Charge experience required
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (must have 3-4)
- IV insulin protocols
- Titration of insulin drips
- Starting IVs
- Titration of cardiac & vasoactive drips
- Tracheostomy care
- Feeding tubes
- Chest tube experience
**Job Description:**
- Work under a 4x12-hour night shift, providing critical care in a Progressive Care Unit.
- Provide effective care and management of various medical procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and adhere to the highest standards of nursing practice.
- Ability to float within the hospital or nearby affiliated hospitals as needed.
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Adhere to charting requirements using Cerner system.
- Complete a 12-hour orientation.
