Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team and play a key role in optimizing our systems and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience, strong Python skills for automation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a Microsoft-focused environment. Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with AI concepts would be a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Utilize Python and other scripting languages to automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes.
- Work closely with Microsoft technologies and tools for infrastructure management and automation.
- Mentor and support other team members in adopting DevOps practices and tools.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing optimizations and troubleshooting as needed.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data warehousing solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps, SQL, and AI.
- Implement and manage infrastructure security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability efforts to support the company's growth.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related incidents in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies for infrastructure management and automation.
- Experience working with Terraform on Azure and/or Bicep.
- Knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and tools would be a significant plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data warehousing technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
