Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Supervise: Manage and guide a small team of machinists, ensuring consistent productivity and top-tier quality throughout the shift.
- Hands-On Leadership: Work directly on the shop floor, troubleshooting machining issues, ensuring smooth machine tool setup, and overseeing operating techniques.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality standards, ensuring no defects are passed to the next operation and that final products meet exacting specifications.
- Team Development: Identify training needs and provide coaching to machinists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the first-shift supervisor to prioritize jobs and meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Efficiency Management: Monitor daily production levels, track employee efficiency, and ensure the shift stays on schedule.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in machining, with a strong understanding of CNC mills and lathes. Experience with calibration and set-up preferred.
- 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Proven ability to train and mentor machinists to achieve high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, project-based setting.
