About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent healthcare association looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join their HR team. This is a contract-to-potential-hire role, offering a hybrid work model with 2-3 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional learning and development, with a focus on creating and evaluating talent-building programs.

Job Description:

The Learning & Development Manager will design, deliver, and evaluate learning initiatives aimed at enhancing workforce capabilities. This role involves creating curriculum content for various staff audiences, utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous learning methods. As a subject matter expert, the Manager will collaborate across departments and external vendors to support employee growth in core and functional competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and facilitate learning initiatives to enhance individual, team, and managerial effectiveness.
  2. Develop curriculum content, facilitator guides, job aids, and assessments.
  3. Partner with departments to assess training needs and identify skill gaps.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external experts to develop learning resources.
  5. Manage the New Hire Onboarding program, optimizing the process and delivering content.
  6. Ensure learning systems meet business needs and enhance user experience.
  7. Evaluate and provide feedback on training programs to ensure effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in professional learning and development.
  2. Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD, APTD) preferred.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, Smartsheet, LMS, Zoom, and Teams.
  4. Strong organizational, communication, and adaptability skills.
  5. Bachelor's Degree required, with relevant experience considered.
