Material Handler

Job Summary:
Currently, we are assisting Client in recruiting for Warehouse Associate positions in Independence, MO.
These are temp-to-hire assignments that provide an opportunity to enhance your career, gain valuable warehouse experience (including SAP warehouse management and voice picking), and possibly secure a full-time job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders, ensuring the correct item, lot number, and quantity are assembled to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare orders for shipment in a customer-friendly manner, ensuring accurate checks of each carton, packing material into boxes, containers, and pallets, and protecting products according to shipping standards.
• Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality and safety compliance.
• Comply with Quality Standards, Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
• Perform duties in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a commitment to quality.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a general warehousing or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance record and ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with SAP Warehouse Management System.
• Experience with voice-picking systems.
• Familiarity with standard warehousing and inventory management best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes.
• Prior experience working in a regulated environment or under strict quality and safety

Education: High School
