Pfizer Futures
If you’re a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate Freshman-Seniors, the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague.
With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division’s goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.
The 2025 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 15, 2024, to December 15, 2024.

Responsibilities
Since January, Pfizer Oncology has been powering into a new era of Oncology leadership, inspired by a clear vision: to accelerate breakthroughs that help people with cancer globally live better and longer lives. Our colleagues know that science will win this fight – with cutting-edge, breakthroughs developed with the most advanced technology and delivered to patients with speed and quality. Pfizer Oncology is comprised of Commercial, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Research and Development. Roles and responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scientific activities related to ongoing projects in Medical Affairs with a special focus on Oncology indications
- Support various aspects of clinical trial management activities not limited to project management, quality and feasibility within Clinical Development Operations
- Support scientific research projects and relationships with key stakeholders related to Scientific Affairs and Strategic Partnerships
- Manage development of marketing materials that are on-strategy, on-time and on-budget
- Collaborate with appropriate teams to share updates, support projects and report of effectiveness of project work
- Collaborate closely across applicable Research departments such as Cancer Biology, Immunology, or Chemistry, to develop and apply technical laboratory skills
- Test biological hypothesis to advance therapeutic candidates
- Assist in the development and execution of various medical projects, including medical communications deliverables and technology projects
- Support the oncology team in research activities, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Assist in oncology translational sciences projects, bridging the gap between laboratory research and clinical applications to improve patient outcomes
- Support clinical pharmacology studies by helping to analyze the effects of oncology drugs on patients, including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
Minimum Qualifications
- Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future.
- Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of application)
- Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester
- Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week. Please note, some lab/manufacturing roles may require additional on-site days
Preferred Qualifications
- Studying applicable degree (Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Management or equivalent)

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.
In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
