Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a 3D  CAD Designer/Draftsman to join our client’s growing team. This position will be responsible for interacting directly with clients to understand their design needs, and then creating shop fabrication drawings in CAD that can then be used by the field installation team for construction. The CAD operator will work with the shop team to ensure the design needs for the client are met.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign floating and fixed dock projectsGenerate all necessary CAD drawingsReview all contract drawings and specificationsConduct pre-design meetings with sales/project manager to confirm design requirementsMake project design changes to meet customer requirementsCommunicate with customer on shop drawing approvalCreate shop fabrication drawings and bill of materials for shop fabricationConsult with shop during project fabrication process when necessaryResolve any issues with dealers during installationPerform other duties and projects as assignedRequired:3 years of working experience with AutoCAD with the ability to produce 3D (AutoCAD 3D) and 2D renderings and construction/shop drawings.Preferred:Structural DraftingBricsCADSponsorship:  NoPay Range: $22/hour - $25/hourPay Method when Direct: Salary, no OTLocation of job:  Dahlonega, GAHours & Shift:  Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PMWork From Home:  Not at first; In the future there may be occasional opportunities to work from home but not on a regular/consistent basisWorking Remote:  NoOvertime:  Not typical but could be project basedTravel:  NoneWork Attire:  Casual Jeans and collared shirtDoes the client require a background check and drug test?  YesPlease contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 or for more details.Â
