Description: NSI requires a Senior Software Engineer to support the F-35 JPO Program Office. The Software Engineer will work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently. The role will oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Responsibilities include implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance, and support for agile software development.
Responsibilities:
- Design, modification, development, and documentation for implementing software programming applications for target systems using agile methods.
- Write source codes for new applications, and/or generate and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Utilize automated testing tools to perform the testing and maintenance.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
Location: Lexington Park, MD
Education: MS or MA degree preferred.
Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience.
