Key responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain application test automation architectural blueprints, technically aligning them with business objectives.
  • Offer technical and functional mentorship to the team, covering test strategy, planning, and automation perspectives.
  • Lead and prioritize testing tasks, defects, and user stories using Jira/Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and implement API tests based on industry standards.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 8-12 years of shown experience in test automation with at least 3+ years in medical devices or Healthcare Services
  • Expertise in architecting automation framework and test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and C#.
  • Write, review, and maintain automation scripts and Integrate automation into CI/CD pipeline using Azure
  • Proficiency with RestSharp and Postman to craft and execute automated API tests, validating the functionality and performance of RESTful APIs integrated into the medical device system.
  • Develop custom test automation libraries and utilities in Python to extend the capabilities of existing automation frameworks and address specific testing requirements of medical device software
  • Conduct exploratory testing sessions to uncover edge cases and potential areas of risk not covered by automated tests, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and product quality.
  • Familiarity with Gherkin syntax for implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and implement API tests based on industry standards such as OpenAPI (Swagger) to ensure consistency and compatibility across different software components
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks. Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues and Provide guidance and training to team members
