Role Overview

The position of Associate Sales Director, Membership Development reports to the Executive Director of the Growth Platform Sales. This individual will play a meaningful role in the development and execution of the firm’s new business goals by successfully selling World 50 groups and programs.

Member Development Associates (MDAs) support Associate Sales Directors, who identify, target, contact, and set video calls with top executive prospects while supporting all following pipeline activities. Through the evolution of this role and the growth of the business, Associate Sales Directors will be very closely aligned with the Group Leader (s) who manages the group (s) that the Sales Directors are selling, enabling us to serve the Members best.

Success will be determined by revenue contribution, which entails new Members (adds) and retention of members.

Responsibilities

· Understand evolving business terrains and effectively articulate the World 50 Group value proposition to prospective members.

· Being the lead presenter on all first and second calls with prospective members.

· Utilize Salesforce.com CRM to track and manage sales pipeline and recruitment activities.

· Work with membership group leaders to close new members and help retain others.

· Cultivate and maintain strong member relationships, driving business growth and exceeding member expectations.

· Develop and document new business processes to maintain and strengthen the role of the MDAs.

· Support the development of company collateral and public relations initiatives.

· Serve as a mentor/coach to other associates in membership development.

Key Qualifications & Proficiencies

· Proven sales record to the C-Suite, their direct reports, and teams.

· Successful experience in sales environments with an emphasis on high-volume transactional achievement.

· Solid understanding of business concepts & dynamics for large national and international corporations.

· In-depth understanding of various job functions, industries, and business sectors, enabling you to identify relevant executive talent effectively.

· Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.

· Ability to quickly build credibility with an executive-level audience.

· Outstanding time management and organization skills.

· Proven verifiable history of quota achievement.

· Solution-based sales experience with an emphasis on service-oriented products.

· Exposure selling an “intellectual” service.

· Excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills.

· Experienced self-starter who can seek out needs and information without directives.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Knowledge of CRM and other tracking software, including Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel preferred.

· Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.

· Consistent display of outstanding project management and research skills.

· Displayed willingness to work in a flexible work environment with some hours in the evening to accommodate time zones outside of the US.

Education/Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Minimum of five years of transactional sales experience with success closing new business
