General Description

This role involves managing a store's expenses and assets in accordance with company policies. Responsibilities include preparing schedules, controlling inventory, maintaining documentation, and opening/closing the store as per operational guidelines.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies.
  • Prepare store schedules and provide proper store coverage within wage control limits.
  • Manage inventory accurately following company policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in compliance with laws.
  • Open and close the store following operational procedures.

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
  • Recruit, develop, and train store personnel to achieve objectives.
  • Administer discipline steps and termination processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Perform subordinate tasks when necessary.
  • Communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Two-year post-secondary education and one year of related experience; or equivalent combination.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and minimize losses.
  • Strong supervisory skills with training expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to climb ladders and work overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of work time.
  • Willingness to travel overnight for training/meetings.
