We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality medical services.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and administering medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on treatments and procedures
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication
- Conduct X-rays and assist with coding procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in a clinic or urgent care setting
*Requirements*
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus
- Ability to perform tasks related to patient care efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.73 - $25.67 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
