Position Overview:
LHH is seeking a contractor to assist the HR Tech team with background checks and electronic file management in preparation for peak hiring season coming up during the holidays. The role will focus on managing background check reviews, uploading documents, and ensuring smooth data transitions within Workday. This is a systematic and process-driven role requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and manage background checks from Edge platform (Background Checking Provider), request additional documents when needed, and resolve mismatches.
  • Assist with organizing and moving files, ensuring accuracy when uploading into systems.
  • Support the HR Tech team in process-related tasks, including managing workflows in Workday and other HR technologies.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Excel and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technology.
  • Critical thinking ability and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Experience with background check processes or HR file management is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Workday is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a focus on accuracy over speed.
Work Hours : 9AM-5PM, 40 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break after 6 hours of work.
Time Off : Contractors will be off and unpaid major Holidays (typically the day before and after), this opportunity does not include holiday pay offered.
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
