In this role, you will manage the market claims data strategy within the Vizient portfolio of solutions, and facilitate extended data asset use across strategic, clinical, pharmacy, and supply chain data domains. You will collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic vision for market claims data investments at Vizient. You will also manage market claims strategy including alignment with Vizient Data & Digital platform architecture. You will support data acquisition integration and acceleration; interoperability, workflow and data pipeline optimization; and AI/ML enablement. You will align market claims capabilities with data integration opportunities; promote consistency of market claims use, including roadmaps, business requirements and major launches. You will create and communicate market claims data capabilities' value and differentiation to internal and external audiences and across integrated solutions and develop a talented product team while leading collaboration with data science, data governance, data operations, technical development and marketing teams across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development of claims assets in support of current and future use cases
- Design efficiencies in data ingestion, management and insights access
- Enhance existing methodologies and participate in the development of new methodologies to best surface critical insights from complex data
- Manage the quality of data delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal colleagues and customers, improving customer engagement and value.
- Create knowledge mapping to enhance the efficiency and usefulness of claims dataset integrations.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and help implement solutions.
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience analyzing large health care (medical claims, pharmaceutical claims, remittance data, and related economic and consumer) data sets required.
- Experience in claims-specific data handling methods such as tokenization and statistical determination required.
- Ability to translate complex technical language clearly and concisely needed.
- Proficient programming experience using Python/R/SQL a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
