This key position is responsible for assembling electronic components to specifications while meeting production schedules, performance and quality standards. This position requires task flexibility and the ability to follow instructions.
Job Description :

• Utilize bill of material, written or verbal instructions to assemble or re-work units
• Work from schematics or assembly drawings to modify subassemblies, as required
• Performs miscellaneous duties that include assisting other areas of production and quality assurance
• Prepare completed products for shipment
• Safety sensitive position

Essential Skills:

• High School Diploma
• Understanding of ESD practices
• Ability to read and work from electrical prints
• Proficiency in circuit boards, soldering and electronics
• Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
• Minimum two (2) years manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to work as part of a team

Non-Essential Skills:

• Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience with proven reliability, preferably in a technical, manufacturing or research and development environment
• Experience in safe work environments and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Prior experience soldering through-hole and SMT components
• Ability to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot AC/DC circuits

Physical & Mental Demands:

• May be required to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or reach
• Will be required to lift, move, and erect components of varying weight, height, length and width dimensions
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds alone and heavier with assistance
• Vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
• Sitting 80%, Walking 15%, Bending 5%
