Overview

In this role as a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test and integrate all facets of software for fabrication equipment in the Semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify requirements; plan tasks; apply highly regarded programming practices and share insights and efforts with the team.
  • Lead or participate in requirements and design phases, perform implementations, debugs and integrations.
  • Provide content for Operations Manuals, Release Notes, Manufacturing and Technical Support documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of test procedures and scenarios to qualify new software.
  • Provide software support to other organizations as required. These tasks are associated with troubleshooting and diagnostics for Manufacturing, Tech Support and Field Service for newly developed capabilities.
  • Coordinate with operational and customer facing organizations for knowledge transfer and NPI activities.
  • Work with vendors supplying components and supporting 3rd party applications.
  • Perform duties as assigned by product and project managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline and 5 years of experience in software engineering or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience is required. Experience as it applies to semiconductor or similar industry preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented methodologies, C#, .NET, C++, VB, COM, MFC, MS Visual Studio, Windows OS.
  • Debugging skills in a very large code base. Proficiency in multithreaded applications.
  • Knowledge and demonstration of S/W development and process methodology for critical applications, and complete S/W lifecycle.

The expected salary range for this position is $129,000 - 163,000 + bonus + benefits. When determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
