As a product analyst on the National Accounts/National Distribution Property Product team, you'll be responsible for analysis and strategy creation which supports efforts to optimize our homeowners, dwelling fire, and other similar insurance products profitability and growth across multiple distribution channels. You'll work with field product teams, national accounts and national distribution account managers, process consultants, and other departments to improve our performance and set our strategies to best align with the long-term Property organizational strategy. You'll develop, improve upon, and help evolve business tools for decision-making and assess our progress vs targets. You’ll elevate performance deviations and work with others to solve business problems, propose data-based solutions, and study trends in our data to support multiple stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll provide insights into how our business grows and remains profitable while allowing you to influence strategic considerations.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of analytical work experience

Preferred Skills

  • Analyst experience with an understanding of property and casualty management knowledge
  • Knowledge of analytical, statistical, and technical methods to solve complex business problems, including knowledge of large data concepts, practices, and terminology
  • Knowledge of querying and reporting tools such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau
  • Capability of influencing internal and external partners without direct management responsibility
  • Proficient computer skills with advanced skills in Excel, including knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing, and macros

Compensation

  • $77,100 - $124,300/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
