Construction Project Manager Position Summary:

Skilled Project Manager supporting multiple projects for a leading construction management firm with an office in Boston (and other offices in New England). Oversee the project details and serve as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and design consultants during the construction phase.

The ideal person is self-motivated, has a strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and pricing, and possesses excellent communication and leadership skills. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously and build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure success.


Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Review construction plans and specifications with key business leaders, superintendents, and managers to ensure project scopes of work are clearly defined.
  • Lead client, architect, and consultant meetings, maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee safety protocols, budget management, and quality control.
  • Initiate and manage the monthly pay application process and follow up on payments.
  • Prepare subcontractor contracts and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
  • Acquire pricing for change orders, value engineering, and allowance reconciliation.
  • Utilize Procore and Microsoft Project to manage all phases of construction.


Construction Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to changing demands.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to lead teams, make timely decisions, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong can-do attitude and willingness to learn and be self-directed to take on new initiatives.
  • Ability to work on-site in Boston Mass.


The Construction Project Manager salary is based on experience in the $80,000 - $140,000 range with excellent comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(K) with company matching, generous PTO and holiday pay plus professional development.
