About Us: Jade is a rapidly growing marketing agency with cannabis clients across Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. We specialize in creating impactful marketing strategies for the cannabis industry, helping brands connect with their audience and achieve their goals. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Director to lead our client strategies and oversee our account management team.

Position Summary: We are seeking an Account Director with 8-10+ years of ad agency experience, including experience in cannabis marketing and e-commerce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing 20+ client accounts, leading a team, and ensuring successful implementation of marketing strategies. This role will be based in our Worcester, Massachusetts office, and will require a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at setting and managing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of their needs.
• Develop and execute client strategies, ensuring alignment with their business goals, while overseeing 20+ accounts.
• Manage and mentor the account teams, providing guidance and setting clear priorities including management of agency workload.
• Oversee social media strategies, including content planning and influencer programs, for multiple clients.
• Utilize strong understanding of Meta ads to create campaigns that produce measurable results.
• Analyze marketing reports and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure timely communication between account teams and clients, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with the agency’s largest clients, handling client issues independently and offering solutions that ensure client retention.
• Track digital marketing campaigns through tools such as discounts, offers, sign-up forms, UTM codes, and more.
• Drive agency growth by identifying potential hires, refining processes, and contributing to new business pitches and proposals.
• Support contract renewals, client negotiations, and retention efforts.
• Manage email, SMS, and loyalty marketing strategies for clients.
• Oversee and manage ad campaigns for clients.
• Collaborate on e-commerce marketing strategies, with a focus on platforms like Dutchie, WordPress, and others.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar area (MBA a plus)
• 8-10+ years of experience in an ad agency, with specific experience in cannabis marketing and e-commerce marketing.
• Proven track record of success managing multiple client accounts, developing strategies, and achieving marketing objectives.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop processes that improve agency efficiency and effectiveness.
• Experience with email, SMS, and loyalty marketing is required.
• Knowledge of AlpineIQ and SpringBig is a plus.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms like Dutchie and WordPress is a plus.
• Experience with Asana or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and account teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, including social media strategies, Meta ads, influencer marketing, and campaign tracking.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations, manage multiple priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Knowledge and understanding of the cannabis industry, including current regulations and trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
