The Sales Director is responsible for managing and growing sales in their assigned area of business through development and execution of plans that meet business objectives. The position is required to meet revenue goals each quarter and contribute to the overall catering success of the catering business. The position will work closely with Marketing, Operations and Support Staff to promote and develop various catering sales projects. Additionally, this individual must be knowledgeable on all products, within all brands we operate, in order to educate Fans and meet our standards of quality and excellence. The Sales Director is expected to treat all team members and fans in a way that creates smiles and loyalty, and will willingly participate in a performance-driven organization who firmly believes that employees are the catalyst to the success of the company. Reports to: Vice President of Operations
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive sales across B2C and B2B channels
- Develop new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Generate sales opportunities and national leads through lead follow-up and unsolicited calls or emails
- Recommend enhancements and changes to current products and programs based on observed trends that could impact sales and profits.
- Maintain catering promotions calendar
- Develop tactical plans to ensure growth in sales
- Champion and manage implementation of new programs, pertaining to catering and business partnerships
- Create presentation materials for external/internal meetings.
- Work as a team member to assure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness, and value to each customer.
- Travel as needed between office, restaurants, and sales locations
- Manage and assist in the setup of catering sales events
- Build positive relationships with Fans, neighboring businesses, corporate, and Team Members.
- Knowledgeable on products, preparation, safety, portion control, presentation, and food cost control
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Proficient with Google platform or related software.
- Knowledge of sales catering within the food & beverage service industry, restaurant operations
- 3-5 years catering sales experience
- Ability to travel as needed (overnight travel is occasional/ not common)
- Research Skills: Utilize a variety of resources to complete a research assignment and be able to summarize and present your findings
- Delivery promotional development: Navigate and anticipate variables that come with every project through broad knowledge of catering
- Must have excellent customer service skills, exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness.

Physical Requirements:
- Position may require prolonged standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges.
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time
- Practice established food-handling procedures to meet any local health regulations
