Job DescriptionBuild a variety of tools, engineering changes, molds, templates, fixtures and jigs.Set-up, adjusts and operates all types of machine shop equipment. Select and lay out materials.Draw sketches and calculate dimensions as required.Repair or modify existing tools.Calculate shrink rate dimensions for different plastics.Operate EDM.Heat Treating.Troubleshooting processes.Team player with the ability to work on miniature, close-tolerance parts and fixtures with minimum supervision.Assist other employees as directed.Train mold technicians to increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of troubleshooting and mold repair techniques.Adheres to approved Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
