Position Overview:
Perform daily back-office duties including billing, billing reports, etc. May include other miscellaneous
tasks including but not limited to customer inquiries, assisting with the parts and install process,
scheduling, and other various tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel. The SR Office Clerk is to be
considered second in command, behind the Office Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer billing for both install and service tickets.
• Assisting Office Manager in training new and current office staff.
• Assisting Accounting department with billing and/or invoice inquiries.
• Residential ticket billing, review, and correct daily reports, verify payment, verify inventory
ticket, create invoices when needed, follow up with field employees on missing payments.
• Providing weekly/monthly billing reports for open or unbilled tickets.
• Providing field staff and Comfort Advisors as point of contact for Advantage Alliance Program.
• Processing issues with installations, damaged equipment, and backorders.
• Assisting field technicians with questions regarding policy coverage and out of pocket expenses
for customers.
• Assisting in receiving and replying to customer complaints/inquiries.
• Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma required.
• Competency in MS Windows, MS Suite, and MS Outlook.
• Ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm is preferred.
• Well organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while
managing multiple concurrent tasks.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Past inventory management experience a plus.
• Experience in HVAC business a plus.
