Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales & Marketing to lead their enterprise division, driving business growth and managing high-value client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to spearhead a key segment of the company, overseeing a team responsible for identifying, acquiring, and maintaining business clients across a variety of sectors. The successful candidate will have a proven record of closing complex deals and leading a dynamic sales team, while also being adept at working within fast-paced environments. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing, this role requires a leader who is strategic, results-oriented, and able to develop and implement successful sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, generating new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring revenue growth through strategic account management and business development.
- Develop and execute strategies for pitching enterprise-level solutions, closing high-value deals across various industries.
- Manage the entire proposal and RFP process, engaging with senior leadership and subject matter experts as needed to secure new business.
- Drive renewals and upsell opportunities within an existing client portfolio to foster long-term partnerships.
- Deliver regular reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and overall business development effectiveness, utilizing CRM tools.
- Achieve quarterly revenue goals by actively engaging in prospecting activities, including cold outreach, attending industry events, and leveraging personal networks.
- Present customized value propositions and solutions to executive-level audiences, both in-person and virtually.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a sales team.
- Strong expertise in strategic, consultative sales, with the ability to navigate and sell at the C-suite level.
- Proven success in closing complex enterprise deals and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience leading the development of RFP responses and managing proposal processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team in a fast-moving and competitive market.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage both in-person and remotely.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) to track sales activities and forecast revenue accurately.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across various industries.
