The Impact You Will Make:

As an Account Manager in the SMB Merchant Network, you'll oversee a restaurant portfolio, optimizing their Grubhub account, enhancing menu pages, and boosting conversion. Your role involves cultivating restaurant relationships and driving growth.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Remain knowledgeable of, and adapt to, Grubhub’s solutions to facilitate sales and build restaurant relationships, trust and loyalty.
  2. Support the Merchant Network in consistently meeting and exceeding retention, revenue, and other goals.
  3. Provide restaurants with industry trend insights and distinctive perspectives, inspiring restaurant owners to innovate their business approach, and fostering a mutually beneficial path to success.
  4. Assist restaurants in attracting new diners, boosting order numbers, and delivering top-quality service to their diners.
  5. Update and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all account information.
  6. Respond to restaurant inquiries, account issues and requests or route them to appropriate company departments within turnaround time expectations.

What You Bring to the Table:

  1. Outstanding, positive attitude with passion and aptitude for working in a fast-paced and fast-growing environment.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience and High School degree/GED.
  3. 1-2 years of Sales experience. Experience working with (or selling to) restaurant owners is a major plus. Restaurant experience is also a plus.
  4. Native-level fluency in English is required. Candidates fluent in Mandarin or Spanish are strongly preferred.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Confident making outbound dials on the phone.
  7. Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals.
  8. Impeccable organizational skills, easily balancing multiple tasks at once; self-starter with a strong bias towards action and problem solving; maximizes effectiveness by focusing time in the right areas.
  9. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) with the ability to quickly learn new software. Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is a plus.
