Overview
- Title: Tax Intern (Winter '25)
- Internship (part-time)
- Hours: 8-15hrs/week
- Location: Scott's Addition
- Pay: $25/hr
The Internship
As a Tax Intern you will have the opportunity to gain real tax professional experience. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our amazing creator and influencer clients by helping them navigate their returns and save money on taxes. The team you will be working with is collaborative and helpful, and values training and mentoring.
This role will have an opportunity for a full-time position after successfully completing the internship and upon graduation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of individual (1040), S Corp (1120-S) and partnership (1065) state and federal tax returns and extensions
- Tax research and special projects
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while also providing information to senior staff members
Qualifications
- On track to graduate with an associates, undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Completion of Introduction to Accounting I/II (or equivalent)
- Expected graduation date of May 2025 or later
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
