Who We Are
Minnesota Housing Partnership's (MHP) Missionis to expand housing and community development opportunities for those most impacted by economic and racial disparities by leading collaborative work to promote systems change and grow equitable development capacity.
MHP began in 1987 as an informal coalition organizing community groups and nonprofit developers to play an active role in affordable housing. Now with a budget of $3 million and a staff of 20, MHP drives innovative housing solutions through original research, strengthens local capacity for housing and community development across the US, and advocates for equitable housing policies and investment so that we all have a place to call home.
We are looking for someone to join our organization and team as a full-time office manager, offering a variety of responsibilities and flexibility. The right candidate will enjoy working closely with the leadership team and employees as we continue to strengthen the organization together.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Office Managerposition will provide financial, human resources, and administrative support for the organization. This includes office management and coordination of supplies and equipment, to serve all departments. Assist the Finance and Human Resources Director in ensuring the Minnesota Housing Partnership (MHP) is fiscally responsible. Maintain financial records that comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Help facilitate board meetings, other events, and special projects including the Staffing Retreat.

- this position, you need a positive, can-do attitude in facing inevitable challenges with people and technology. Can multitask and stay self-motivated with limited supervision. Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlines and the ability to self-audit for accuracy, identify errors, and reconcile discrepancies. Some evening and weekend hours when needed.
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED with 3 years or more relevant on-the-job experience.
- Associate degree or bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and the Unanet accounting system is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with bookkeeping procedures.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar programs is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable transportation
