DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Accountant 1, you will utilize Treasury's reporting software to obtain necessary reports to create monthly cash journals, enter and post investment activity into general ledger software, and verify ending balances. You will play a role in retrieving and analyzing investment transaction data and updating as necessary. Work includes entering data into SWIF's investment system and assisting Accountant 2s with month end reconciliation and Treasury daily activity reports. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Financial Programs Trainee; or Successful completion of the Commonwealth's Accounting Intern Program; or One year as a Fiscal Technician, and fifteen college credits in accounting; or Five years of Bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting; or A Bachelor's Degree including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting.
