As a Sales Manager in Training, you will be trained in every aspect of the Sales Manager position by shadowing the Sales Director, other Sales Managers, as well as other key personnel.The Sales Manager Trainee is responsible for coaching our Sales Staff – acting as their primary reference regarding customer service and satisfaction, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing skills, prices, terms, paperwork, and sales guideline interpretation.This position will equip you with the tools and training necessary to become a successful Sales Manager.Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:Promote SalesBe an active member of the selling team to learn the sales processEnsure that location sales quotas are achievedRecruit sales representativesProvide sales staff with proper training regarding sales techniques, legal requirements, and company products, policies, and proceduresReview and evaluate sales staff performanceHandle personnel issues and problemsConduct weekly sales meetingsEnsure all contracts/paperwork are completed and returned accurately and in a timely mannerWork in the field with the sales team (ride with staff on presentations)Local travel to other locations may be requiredDo you want to make a difference?
