CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company , is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the internal Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team at CALIBRE headquarters in Alexandria, VA. The Financial Analyst will support the FP&A lead with full Project Lifecycle financial analysis and project control from Project Setup to project closeout. Additional support will be provided to the compilation of corporate level financial metrics including financial analysis, dashboard reporting, forecasting, and business analytics. This is a hybrid role.

Tasks Include:

  1. Support to the initial setup of new project awards in Deltek CostPoint.
  2. Perform financial analysis as it pertains to revenue and profitability.
  3. Tracking and reporting of key financial metrics against Budget.
  4. Gathering of financial data and creation of financial models to support business decisions.
  5. Provide supporting data for Financial Performance reports to the Corporate Leadership Team.
  6. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  7. Analyze and report on financial trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
  8. Support the Corporate Growth team with tracking and reporting of Capture and Bid and Proposal activities.
  9. Assist with other Corporate financial activities such as proposal pricing as surge support is needed.

Required Skills:

  1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work in team settings.
  2. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  3. Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos.
  4. Familiar with government contracting and project accounting.
  5. Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  6. Able to multi-task and work with multiple stakeholders concurrently.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  8. Able to analyze information to create financial analysis and business analytics; familiar with cost accounting and demonstrates strong financial skills.
  9. Capable, confident, and composed when working under tight deadlines.
  10. Familiarity with government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR, DFAR).

Preferred Skills:

  1. Power BI experience.
  2. Familiarity with data analytics and management tools (Qlik, Access, SQL, Business Objects).
  3. Familiarity with government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR, DFAR).
  4. Proficient in MS Teams and SharePoint programs.
  5. Willing and able to work extended hours to ensure project completion.
  6. Able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends as required.
