Currently, they are operating in 3 strategically placed shipping facilities, where they provide 1-3 day service to 95.7% of the US population. Director of Sales

Our client is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Previous sales experience and logistical knowledge is required, along with a high degree of organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  1. The Director of Sales is expected to lead, generate, and grow the market share of all new 3PL accounts as well as create personal value for their respective client base.
  2. Maintain contact with all new 3PL clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction.
  3. Build trust and value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate high integrity.
  4. Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet the company’s core values.
  5. Proactively develop/establish and maintain effective communication and team relationships working closely with 3PL customers, Customer Service, and Operations.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all 3PL sales and prospecting activity including but not limited to sales calls, closed sales, and follow-up activity with the goal of maximizing all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the establishment of new market shares.

Experience:

  1. At least 10 years of Sales experience is required.
  2. 3PL knowledge is required.
  3. Telemarketing/Cold call experience is a plus.
  4. Lead generation experience.
