The Department of Health Services (DHS) , Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) is recruiting for two Inventory Control Coordinators - Inventory Management. CWC provides short-term and long-term residential services to assist people living with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the personal skills needed to reach their highest potential. CWC is located at 317 Knutson Drive on the north side of Madison.

Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinators - Inventory Management are responsible for overseeing daily inventory and supplies for CWC and Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI). There are approximately 60 different ordering units from CWC and MMHI and these positions will spend most of their time managing, assessing, and replenishing the daily use inventory for these facilities. These positions will use an Oracle based inventory module and computer tracking software daily for these tasks.
Salary Information
The starting pay is $18.49 per hour (approximately between $38,500 per year), plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. These positions are classified as Inventory Control Coordinators and are in pay schedule and range 03/10.
Job Details
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by CWC/MMHI or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.
These positions have physical requirements which may include but are not limited to lifting 50 pounds, standing, sitting, kneeling, and stooping. Applicants may be required to pass a physical evaluation to assess these requirements.
These positions require the ability to drive a State vehicle. In order to become authorized to drive a State vehicle, you must meet the requirements of the State of Wisconsin Fleet Vehicle Policy, which are:

- Must have minimum of two years licensed driving experience,
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Three or more moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past two years,
- Operating While Intoxicated (OWI)/Driving Under the Influence (DUI) citation within the past 12 months,
- Suspension or revocation of driver's license.
Qualifications
In addition to meeting the driver's license and fleet requirements described above, minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:
- Experience in warehouse and inventory management and using inventory management software.
- Experience working with internal personnel and external partners in a shipping and receiving environment.
- Experience using warehouse and inventory handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care inventory.
- Experience working with a diverse customer base such as physicians, nurses, therapists, and facility and environmental services.
- Experience using Oracle based inventory management software.
