What You Will Do

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be implementing, maintaining and scaling hybrid cloud infrastructure in a modern containerized environment. This platform includes many technologies from OpenShift to Splunk and is used by a wide range of development, QA, and system integration teams.

  1. Designing and implementing new technologies.
  2. Assist with software and infrastructure management, inventory, installations, configurations, and connectivity.
  3. Maintaining and driving modernization of legacy applications, tools and systems.
  4. Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot problems within DevOps tools, network, storage, and servers.
  5. Design, implement ensuring quality and security controls are met.
  6. Prioritize work and close out tickets in a timely manner.

What You Will Need

  1. US citizenship
  2. Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  3. 5+ years of experience
  4. Bachelors or equivalent experience
  5. Bitbucket (Git)
  6. Ansible
  7. Networking/DNS/Certificates
  8. Security scanning / vulnerability remediation (Nessus, Retina, …)
  9. Splunk (or similar)
  10. Linux (RHEL preferred)
  11. Windows Server
  12. Scripting/development skills. Python and Bash scripting are preferred
  13. Team player that fully embraces DevOps culture, eliminate barriers and bridge moats
  14. Kubernetes (Preferably OpenShift)

  1. Good verbal and written communication skills
  2. Government or large organization experience
  3. Mongo DB
  4. PostgreSQL / EDB
  5. Jenkins
  6. Nexus - Artifact Repository
  7. NGINX/HAProxy - reverse proxy
  8. Twistlock
  9. Cloud based services (AWS, Google Cloud, ...)
  10. App monitoring: NewRelic, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, Zabbix or similar

The annual salary range for this position is $93,600.00-$140,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
