Job Purpose

The Lead Technical Clinical Consultant, Cardiology, shall be responsible for all aspects of the reporting design and build, configuration, workflow, and measurement/data mapping for project and/or post go-live support cases for all cardiology modules in compliance with the company’s quality procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a departmental and company authority resource for all aspects of cardiology reporting/system configurations.
  2. Participate effectively and actively in assigned implementation and post go-live support project team activities.
  3. Consult with customers and project team members regarding existing and projected clinical workflows, Synapse Cardiology applications, best practices, and proper management of sensitive clinical data.
  4. Direct interaction with customers to identify applicable reporting/system specifications and provide consultation/support for all available cardiology modules.
  5. Configure, tailor, and deliver reporting application solutions for all available cardiology modules.
  6. Configure and validate clinical measurement/data import/export interfaces.
  7. Design, customize, and electronically deliver technical clinical tools and supplements.
  8. Peer reference and subject matter expert for system configurations and overall client functions.
  9. Various forms of technical writing and customer relations.
  10. Update the customer database with all activity on a timely basis.
  11. Compliance with respect to all applicable requirements of the company’s quality management system.
  12. Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements and applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5 years minimum experience in related discipline is preferred.
  • Exposure to the medical field, particularly cardiology, is required.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare, computer science, or a related field with at least two years of work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Travel required (up to 25%), based on business need.
