Job Requirements / Description
Position Summary:
Performs wide range of duties involving operating manual radial drills, and following/achieving manufacturing, quality and performance standards, while exceeding our customer's expectations with quality service in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:
  • Sets-up and operates manual radial drill and various hand tools at an acceptable level of quality and productivity.
  • Completes all documentation to complete jobs as required.
  • Able to read blueprints.
  • Complete all necessary computer transactions throughout the course of the shift.
  • Understands and follows all procedures associated with job functions.
  • Performs special projects as directed.
  • Participates in Work Teams.
  • Participates in training sessions.
  • Keeps an "open line" of communications with Supervisors and colleagues.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining and following quality standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains and protects all company assets under their control while fostering loss prevention awareness.
  • Responsible for maintaining and following Quality and Aerospace standards and standard operating procedures.
Other Responsibilities :
  • Able and willing to work all shifts and hours as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as required or as directed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of decimals, fractions, geometry and basic math.
  • Use of precision measuring equipment.
  • Basic reading, writing and English language skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, leveraging, hoisting or carrying 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
  • Listing, pushing, pulling, leveraging, hoisting or carrying 50 pounds or more on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to stand at assigned machine cell for length of shift.
  • Bending, squatting or reaching (below or overhead) on a regular basis.
  • Ability to move freely around the machine shop.

Physical Work Environment:
  • Exposure to continual background noise from machines, HVAC.
  • Exposure to dust, oil, chemicals.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment as required by law.
