We are hiring a Lab Technician to perform tensile testing and maintain the equipment for our Elastomer division.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform Tensile Testing
  • Co-ordinate calibration activity for WTL equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness at WTL
  • Record WTL environmental conditions to specified requirements
  • Write down test report upon completion tensile testing
  • Pay attention to detail while performing and recording the testing
  • Confidentiality shall be maintained related to all WTL activities
  • Lab activities shall be conducted impartially
  • Equipment maintenance schedule shall be followed
  • Receiving and in-process inspection shall be performed
  • Ensures compliance and maintaining the processes/procedures of the WOM management systems, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001,as applicable
  • Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years customer service-related experience
  • Microsoft Office Applications required
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail and accuracy
