About the Role:

CaaStle is adding a Senior Director, Business Development to our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, we seek a lawyer by training with substantial experience managing complex investment and acquisition transactions. The ideal candidate has a proven track record at a top tier law firm, investment bank, or in-house corporate development team, managing due diligence, contract negotiation and deal execution on complex M&A and investment transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial candidate who wants to join a high-growth technology company in a commercial role while leveraging their legal and M&A experience. Experience in apparel/retail is a plus.

CaaStle and P180 have recently announced investment and licensing deals with leading apparel companies like Elyse Walker and Joseph Altuzarra and have a quickly growing deal pipeline.

What You'll Do:
  • Engage with prospective brands and retailers to manage:
  • deal due diligence
  • Contract management and technical execution
  • Work with key executive stakeholders at CaaStle and P180 on the development and management of the deal pipeline
We'd Love for You to Have:
  • Five or more years of experience working in corporate development, with a focus on M&A due diligence and contract negotiation
  • Technical legal experience in license execution and deal execution, or equivalent experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to partner with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus, as well as experience in fashion, apparel, or retail
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver results
  • Passion for learning and development with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • JD required, with experience at a law firm or bank, running in-house M&A due diligence and contract negotiation

Pay Range:

$250,000 - $325,000. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
