General Manager

The Happiest Hour,  is a West Village cocktail bar that evokes bygone California and Florida resorts vibe, brought to by  Golden Age Hospitality - the group behind The Nines, Elvis, Deux Chats, Le Dive, and Acme.
Currently we are seeking a hospitality & operationally driven General Manager with experience working in  fast-paced nightlife environment.

GM Responsibilities Include:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to unite FOH and BOH towards a common goal of continually raising the bar.
• Recruit, hirie, train, and develop a strong team.
• Hold team accountable, performance manage, and coach and counsel when needed.
• I mplement, monitor, and fine-tune clear strategic initiatives.
• Conduct weekly manager meetings and confidently in front of a group.
• Lead motivating, enthusiastic, educational pre-shift meetings.
• Ensure consistent execution of food, beverage, service, and hospitality that aligns with company values.
• Proactively manage prime costs with an eye on the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual projections and budgets.
• Forecasts and monitor weekly sales and labor numbers to ensure hospitality and financial targets are achieved.
• Ability to diffuse challenging guest situations with patience, understanding, and tact; and resolve conflicts between team members.
• Aptitude to apply creative solutions to practical problems and situations where limited standardization exists.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment; balances team and individual responsibilities

Position Requirements:

• Must have experience working in a nightlife establishment 
• 4 years management experience in a similar face paced environment
• Strong restaurant operational skills
• knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails
• Experience using POS platforms such as Toast, 7Shifts, Resy, open table, Slack, Asana
• Strong mathematical, and computer skills: excel, Google docs
• Ability to work late nights and weekends

• Compensation Range $100k - $110k
