This position will lead the Blossom enterprise including daily operations, production quotas, and inventory management, driving sales activities, and scaling the business to create job opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position will supervise production coordinators, outside sales representatives, and inside sales representatives.

The ideal candidate should possess a multifaceted skill set, including the ability to successfully execute sales plans and marketing strategies. Additionally, they should stay current with Blossom products, programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures, as well as be well-versed in the offerings of the company's competitors. The candidate should excel in managing relationships to ensure partner engagement and commitment. Being technology-savvy with a solid knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is crucial. Furthermore, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to analyze systems/structures and adapt to maximize efficiency, along with the capability to create team structures that foster opportunities for individuals of all ability levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Blossom team by establishing and directing various operating targets for inventory, production, sales, and other factors and measures required for success and growth of the Blossom enterprise. Provide oversight/guidance and engage in supervisory activities required to support production, inventory, and sales activities (i.e., performance management, payroll activities, etc.).
  • Manage production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness including production scheduling and forecasting, purchasing, identifying space and equipment needs and developing quality assurance standards.
  • Manage sales activities and achieve sales goals through the creation of sales strategies, establishing lead generation activities, managing customer cultivation efforts, utilizing data to drive sales opportunities, and converting sales.
  • Participate in sales events as required including traveling periodically to national tradeshows and flexibility in schedule to work periodic evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Scale current Blossom business and evaluate new opportunities to expand social impact of job creation for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Maintain Blossom enterprise line plan including monitoring COGS purchasing and making pricing recommendations.
  • Coordinate, as needed, with Quest support departments such as accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing communications & business development, and philanthropy to ensure successful Blossom enterprise support operations.
  • Coordinate operational functions of supporting software including Shopify, Faire, Wayfair and more.
  • Coordinate with Quest Marketing Communications and Business Development department on collateral, digital and general marketing, media, PR, and merchandising needs.
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities including developing program budget, monitoring routine variance, internal billing procedures, purchase ordering and cost management.
  • Maintain safety standards established by regulatory bodies and Quest.
  • Performs other duties as requested/required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • College degree desired (Business, Management, Sales or other related fields) or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field and 3+ years related work experience.

Experience/licenses/certifications needed. If experience can be substituted for education, please specify number of years and type:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in sales, production, retail or a related field in a product-driven or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Previous working knowledge utilizing computers, scanner, and fax.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Requires occasional exposure to weather including extreme heat, humidity, and moisture.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Requires sufficient vision and hearing ability to observe and communicate with team members.
