Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: Chester, PA area
Salary:100k-130k
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production facility. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management- Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors and operators to achieve production targets- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and eliminate waste- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement initiatives- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plant- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles- Excellent leadership and communication skills- Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions- Mechanical knowledge and experience in fabrication is a plus- Experience with production planning systems is highly desirable
