**Shift:** Variable shifts, Monday-Friday, 8-hour varied shifts, Weekend call 0700-1800, every 3-4 weeks
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Preferably a few years of experience, though it depends on the candidate
**License:** State License
**Certifications:** NMTCB, AHA BLS
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with Siemen Symbia Cameras
- Experience with Epic Charting and SECTRA PACS
- Understanding of nuclear regulatory commission rules and regulations
**Job Description:**
- Responsible for the administration of nuclear imaging procedures, diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, and adjunctive medications using a variety of equipment.
- Strictly adhere to relevant safety standards in performing imaging procedures.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging examinations through advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care.
- Perform various nuclear medicine studies on inpatients and outpatients of all age groups from neonate to geriatric.
- Practice radiation safety, safely operate all cameras and equipment in the department.
- Process and send data to required destinations via computer.
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician.
- Use radiation-detecting equipment to perform patient imaging procedures.
- Describe procedures to patients and answer questions.
- Implement radiation safety standards and quality assurance in daily work.
- Monitor patient conditions during imaging procedures.
- Collect patient information, analyze data, and provide quality images for physician diagnosis.
- Undergo PACS and Epic training as part of unit-specific training and orientation program.
