For more information, click here .Role reports to: Director of Skin Health R&DLocation: Skillman, NJ Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ , but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.Travel %: 20%Pay : $84K - $152KWhat you will doThe Senior Packaging Engineer is responsible for leading development of new packages for the Skin Health franchise for brands such as AVEENO, CLEAN & CLEAR, NEUTROGENA, LUBRIDERM, NEOSTRATA. This may include projects and activities at internal or external manufacturing sites. This individual will be responsible for specifications, documentation, package line trials and package testing to support product release. This successful individual will take a leadership role with packaging projects and possess the ability to influence with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.What we are looking forRequired QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related Science field is required; Advanced degree is preferredA minimum of 7 years experience in Cosmetic/Personal Care, OTC, Food or related industry is requiredThis position requires in depth knowledge of materials and processes used in construction and manufacturing of cosmetic packaging such as:Extrusion/ Injection moldingDispensing systems (airless, pumps)Custom Compact designPropel/ Repel MechanismSolid understanding of a broad spectrum of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes is required;Experience in packaging line trials and package testing is required;Ability to partner and lead effectively across functions and functional levels is required;Technical Leadership skills are required;Project Management skills are required.Ability to prioritize multiple rapidly changing priorities with minimal direction is required;Desired QualificationsStrong technical writing/documentation skills are preferred;Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, draw conclusions and generate reports that present sound data driven conclusions is preferred;A strong focus on sustainability and eCommerce packagingThis position may require up to 20% travel (primarily domestic and some potential international).What's in it for youCompetitive Total Rewards PackagePaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!Learning & Development OpportunitiesEmployee Resource GroupsNote: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
