AESC is looking to add a Design Manager to our team in our Global Industrialization Development Engineering Team to report to our Director of Engineering.

About the Role

The Design Manager will play a pivotal role in our Global Industrialization Development Engineering Center of Excellence group. This extraordinary opportunity demands exceptional talent as we embark on constructing never-before-seen production lines, expanding our product portfolio to new horizons. What You Will Do

  • Design Management: Manage and coordinate project design development, ensuring complete delivery within budget, schedule and quality requirements.
  • Construction Administration Support: Conduct project site visits for monitoring construction progress and support quality adherence to design standards.
  • Demonstrate Leadership Skills: Provide guidance to team members and external teams, fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster positive and collaborative relationships between internal and external teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct periodic quality control reviews to assess compliance and address deficiencies.

What You Need

  • B.S. in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in owner capital development projects in battery manufacturing or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in design development for large scale ultra-clean manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of relevant codes and specifications.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract negotiations and management.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools.
