Position Overview:
The AV Live Events Account Executive will play a crucial role in growing and nurturing relationships with key clients in the audiovisual live events industry. This individual will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing tailored AV solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop, nurture, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their unique audiovisual needs and objectives to ensure that customized solutions meet or exceed their expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering a seamless customer experience.Client Consultations & Needs Assessments:
Actively listen to clients' concerns, challenges, and feedback to fully understand their live event requirements. Offer expert advice and guidance, ensuring that their audiovisual needs are met with innovative solutions. Conduct thorough needs assessments to develop effective and impactful AV proposals that align with the client's vision.Customized AV Solutions Development:
Work closely with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to design bespoke audiovisual solutions that meet client specifications, timelines, and budgets. Be an advocate for the client, ensuring that proposed solutions align with their event objectives and deliver an exceptional experience.Business Development & Growth:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth. This includes upselling additional services, introducing new technologies, and exploring opportunities for expanding client relationships. Proactively engage clients in discussions about their future AV needs and develop strategies for meeting those goals.Sales Proposals & Presentations:
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations that clearly communicate the value of the company's AV solutions. Articulate complex technical concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging for non-technical stakeholders. Be a confident communicator, capable of presenting at all levels of an organization.Collaboration & Project Coordination:
Work collaboratively with project managers, technical teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of AV projects. Oversee all stages of the project, from conception to completion, ensuring that the client's requirements are met with precision and excellence. Serve as the liaison between the client and the technical teams, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of all services.Industry Knowledge & Competitor Analysis:
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Provide insights to both clients and internal teams regarding opportunities for improvement, innovation, and differentiation. Leverage this knowledge to position the company as a leader in the AV live events space.Client Satisfaction & Continuous Improvement:
Monitor client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and address any issues or concerns as they arise. Solicit feedback post-event to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery. Strive to exceed client expectations and foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of account management or sales experience, specifically in the audiovisual live events industry. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully managing client accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and delivering outstanding customer service.Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies, including sound systems, video displays, lighting, and event management software. The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner is essential.Sales Acumen:
Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that lead to significant revenue growth. Experience in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations that clearly communicate value and drive client decision-making.Communication & Negotiation Skills:
