Job Description

  • Partner with the COO of Global Client Solutions and other Senior Team Heads across the organization in initiatives relating to Global Relationship Management, Investor Strategy, Investor Operations, Global Conferences & Events, across all platforms of Ares Management.
  • Serve as a critical point of contact within GCS for coordination, question, best practices and processes.
  • Lead a variety of strategic high-profile projects, including but not limited to the annual headcount budget, G&A expenditure tracking/projections, ARES Board of Director and annual Investor Day presentations, internal Leadership Offsite agendas and materials, and strategic marketing-related presentations.
  • Act as a Project Manager, working with cross-platform teams, on critical and key workstreams for GCS (e.g. quarterly/mid-year/annual budget review, People and Culture-Related Projects and M&A due diligence/integration).
  • Identify efficiency opportunities, develop implementation plan, and manage in-scope processes on behalf of the COO of GCS and the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer.
  • Manage critical data & analytics in partnership with Investor Operations team – gathering, distilling, processing and communication information that is needed by senior GCS management to optimize the business unit’s performance.
  • Help enable and optimize corporate development within GCS and strategic growth function.
  • Work with Global Client Solutions and Investor Relations / Product Management teams to drive, streamline and centralize processes across different groups including Operations, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Investment Groups.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Finance, General Business or Management, and outstanding academic achievement.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • A track record of achievement and increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years + of related experience in accounting, management consulting or financial services.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Direct report management required.
  • Experience leading workstreams and running a team.

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$200,000 - $240,000
