UKG is looking for an experienced and passionate User Experience Designer that advocates for User Centered Design while connecting our users with the value they seek. The candidate will be responsible for the overall usability and quality of one or more UKG products or features.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for design and a keen eye for details. They possess extraordinary UX/UI design skills and a proven experience of applying user-centered design principles. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, they can grasp and distill user problems and translate them into delightful and engaging solutions.

As part of this role you work closely with key stakeholders to clearly identify the scope of the design work, the requirements and use cases; pitch concepts, present designs and advocate for the user experience across the organization.

If you are passionate about understanding user needs and contexts and can facilitate the discovery, documentation, and clearly communicate complex processes, we would love to hear from you.

About The Role

  1. Collaborating with User Researchers, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Engineering partners to articulate and refine product requirements. Contributing to product-level design discussions, workshops, decision-making and documentation that support both user goals and business strategy.
  2. Providing product teams with clear and actionable design guidance in the form of workflows, sketches (at a wide range of fidelity), mockups, wireframes, prototypes, etc.
  3. Creatively applying the principles and standards of our Design System in your practice, while contributing to its growth and evolution.
  4. Testing concepts, performing task and user analysis, and assisting with user acceptance testing.
  5. Delivering high-quality, well-documented work that is aligned to and synchronizes with your collaborators.
  6. Champion customer-centric, responsive/adaptive design methodologies by Architecting, Designing and Supporting new interfaces/experiences.
  7. Prototyping that succinctly illustrates hierarchy and navigation.

  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision).
